Four Ways to Celebrate July 4th, 2009 in Long BeachQueen Mary – they will be having live bands, a street festival and lots of fireworks around 9 pm.
  • The Belmont Pier located in Belmont Shores off of Ocean Blvd and Termino.  Join in the fun with a BBQ & Beer Garden, Live Music on the Pier….party down….the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier in Long Beach will be having an event this year….the cost of this event is $20….go to www.belmontpier.com for more details.
  • Head to the Beach around 9 pm and watch the firework shows for free.  Bring a lawn chair or beach chair and you will be able to see and hear all of the great firework shows for FREE.
  • Long Beach Veterans Memorial Stadium at 5000 E Lew Davis St.–Long Beach Fireman’s Memorial Association Gates open at 6pm Adults $10, Children & Seniors $7

Surfside, California is a cool place to watch Fireworks even though they are illegal in Long Beach, Seal Beach and Surfside, you can camp out on the beach and watch the shows going on up and down the coastline.

  • Redondo Beach CA
    Seaside Lagoon
    200 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach
    Gates open at 2:00, Fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
    Kids 3rd Annual Freedom Parade at 7:30, Live Entertainment until 11;00 p.m.
